Maybe the person who wrote the article was wrong about that. But do some more research on this topic and you will find that the dairy industry is absolutely gruesome.

I worked on a dairy farm for four years and am going to school to be an agriculture teacher. and that is not true. Most cows are milked 2 to 3 times a day to mimic the feeding times of a calf.

This article REEKS of ignorance. No doubt this was NOT written by a farmer of any type. I live in rural Kentucky and can count on two hands the number of small dairy farmers that I personally know. My milk literally comes from a small family farm with a red barn and cows grazing on a hill, where loving human hands “squirt milk” from the animal’s teats, as the article says CLEARLY DOESNT EXIST. Oh, okay, so I just live in a parallel universe then I guess. What a joke.
This article is nothing but fodder for off-their-rocker vegan coconuts who can’t possibly be arsed to VISIT a dairy farm and see for themselves how things work. Honestly yall should be shamed for publishing this.

buy from a dair farmer. This artcile acts like theyre rare or dont exist. its bollocks. I buy milk direct from my local dairy farmer. small family, small farm, small batch low temp pasteurized milk, comes in glass bottles. The cost is probably 3-4x “regular” milk from a grocery store. its $12 for a gallon, with $3 in glass jar deposit which you get back upon return.
Look online for a local dairy farmer. guarantee you can find one. dont listen to this disinformation article.

There is no such thing as “humane” exploitation. Nothing is compassionate about masturbating a bull, genetically modifying the breed even if it causes suffering, raping a cow on a rape rack, taking away her baby immediately after birth, putting her baby in solitary confinement while her mother mourns, often killing her baby, using painful suction that often causes bleeding, and then ultimately killing the mother too when she lives to only a fraction of her natural lifespan. Killing a cow at 3-years-old is like killing a human at 12-years-old. That isn’t a long life. We need to stop making excuses and leave animals alone.
And to the mod reading this who will certainly just delete my comment: you’re complicit too for censoring the truth.

We have evolved since then. Using animals for ourselves is now unethical as you see (above). They are deprived of anything that could make their lives worthwhile and face the terror of the slaughterhouse. There is right and wrong.

Thank you for addressing the problems of such a problematic industry and the efforts to make it better for people, planet, and animals.
